Permanent Restraining Order

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but hopefully it is. I have a friend who has filed a temporary restraining order against their ex. She did it with valid reasons. They are supposed to go to Court on Friday to obtain the permanent restraining order. The Ex is currently violating the TRO by harassing my friend and telling her that she will ruin his career because he just got hired to do security. He’s claiming that they will fire him. He’s saying something about not getting his SORA renewed because of it. My friend just needs to know if this is true.

Her attorney has told her that even police officers have restraining orders filed against them. Can anyone tell me if what he is saying sounds true?
