What’s living in Aberdeen like? Should i study there?

I’m a scottish student, who recently got an offer to study medicine in Aberdeen. I’ve never actually been to the city… and all i see online is people talking negatively about the city. Glaswegians do the same, but it’s not that we truly think the city is terrible. Is it the same with aberdonians or is really that bad?
