Silicon Valley Purpose of Life.

To those who aren’t tech workers or trying to create a start up, what keeps you in the Silicon Valley? I’m asking since it’s high cost of living isn’t any secret. Only reason I’d move there is for a tech related job. Food and weather is awesome though. Thank you!
