How I Launched My First SaaS and Got 20 Paying Users in Just 3 Days
Hey Everybody,
I wanted to share my experience with the launch of my first-ever SaaS in the hopes that it might inspire some of you because it def changed my perspective on some things.
Three days ago, I quietly launched my app on Product Hunt. I wasn't expecting much (with all of the bad rep it got recently). I just wanted to put it out there and see what happens.
Here's what the launch has looked like so far:
- 382 upvotes on Product Hunt.
- 465 website visits, resulting in 85 sign-ups.
- And most exciting of all: 20 paying users already -> this exceeded my expectation by miles
My tool was born out of a personal need. As someone who is juggling projects, work and my personal life, I often struggled to maintain consistent posting across different platforms. I found myself manually copying and pasting content to each platform, which felt tedious and time-consuming. That's when I decided to create something better.
The app is simple:
- You create your content once.
- It posts to all major platforms in one click.
- It schedules content for the perfect posting time.
- And it keeps everything beginner-friendly with customization options for each platform.
The response so far has been encouraging, and while 20 paying users might not sound like a lot, it feels like a huge milestone for me.
If you've been sitting on an idea, wondering if it's worth launching, my advice would be to give it a try. You don't need a perfect product or a big splash. Sometimes, it's enough to just put it out there and see what happens.
