Advice About Feeding Puppy Rotties?

I have two rotties that are both 7 months old. One is a male and one is a female, and if necessary, they are siblings. Our girly is a little bigger than our boy. We have tried feeding them two different foods, and they reacted negatively to one of them (Costco “Kirkland” brand puppy dog food, they just didn’t eat unless they had to, they hated the taste imo) but we use the pedigree puppy chow for the most part. We have only ever used the Kirkland food, since knowing they disliked it, when we had no Pedigree left at the moment.

I have been bombarded with tons of ads and sponsorships from “all-natural dog food brands” that claim to use human grade ingredients in dog food, but when doing my research, dry food and kibble tend to be at least the bare minimum requirements for dog nutrition. I don’t want to give my babies the bare minimum by any means, but I want to know if it’s worth it to give them something way more expensive, that if needed, I can afford but would rather not spend extra money on. Keep in mind, as a large dog owner, who has multiple large dogs, I don’t think that switching them to a food they might like the taste of better that doesn’t actually improve their life by much is really worth it considering they might no longer like the food that they do now, in case I have financial issues in the future. I’m only 20 and these are technically my parents dogs, but me and my dad take care of them primary and my dad said he is okay with me switching their food if I pay for it full time, which I am willing to do. The reason I’m hesitant to switch to something “fresher” has nothing to do with refrigeration, as my childhood dog was a rottie that lived to 13 and died peacefully in his sleep. He ate the adult version of the food we feed our puppies now. We also feed them more than recommended, however they are a perfect weight for their frame and are not overweight at all. I think they may be a little ahead on Rothy growth because of this. I don’t want to guess their weight but they are absolutely massive. I wanna know specifically, what do you guys feed your rotties? Especially if they are puppies or were at some point. Sorry for the over-explanation, I wanted to get all of the facts in here.
