Roof boots for winter?

Hi, do any of you professionals have a suggested boot or even shoe (like Vans?) to wear if having to get up on a roof in the winter? I'm in the northern Midwest, so it's quite cold here right now. Thankfully no snow or notable ice on the roof currently, but there is a thin layer of frost that won't burn off anytime soon. I need to get up on the roof, and it'd only be worse if I try to put off and it snows. My online searching shows Cougar Paws are supposed to be great, at least during normal roofing conditions. I have no idea if they'd be any good on frost or winter slickness? Skater shoes would be even colder on my feet than the all leather boots, but I'm just looking for the best option for what shouldn't be too long of a job. Thank you.
