Iron Ranger D vs EE

I tried a pair of 10.5D yesterday and while they were not tight, they were not loose either. They were snug around my instep, and I like my toes to have some wiggle room. So I then tried some 11s, and there was noticeable room around the instep and toes. My concern is: if I go With th the 11s and they loosen up….they might be too big. And the 10.5…it’s hard to know how much they’ll loosen up with wear, “possibly” becoming more comfortable.

The saleswoman at the store says the EE are ridiculously wide and when she ordered some for another client they were quite disappointed in how large/wide they were compared to the D (she doesn’t carry them and would be a special order).

Any experience with EE and how much wider they really are? I feel like goldilocks trying on Red Wings …LOL
