Looking for stories where the system is failing/falling apart

Like the title says. I'm looking for stories that feature a system slowly crumbling. I'm aware of two stories that feature this. System Delenda est (although it's more like the system starts broken and is intentionally broken in this one) and A budding scientist in a fantasy world (Spoiler because it's not revealed until later)
