Having Trouble Finding Comfortable Shoes

I’m a new male player trying to find a comfortable pair of shoes to use for pickleball, mostly indoor play on concrete floors.

I’m looking for shoes that are lightweight with cushion that are actually comfortable to wear.

So far I’ve tried the following shoes, and I chose not to buy any of them.

Skechers Viper Court Elite pickleball shoes- These are marketed as “hands free skip-ins”, which is laughable. The shoes were so narrow I could barely fit my feet into them and triple checked that the shoes were labeled with the size I ordered.

New Balance FuelCell 996v6 pickleball shoes - These were a bit narrow, but the thing I absolutely hated was the hard part of the sole along the outer edge of the shoe. It felt like I was walking on a rock at all times. I had high hopes for these since I wear New Balance FuelCell 990v6 shoes as my normal daily shoes.

Adidas Barricade tennis shoes - These fit ok, but were again a bit too narrow. They also creaked very loudly in the toe area as I walked, which is the main reason I didn’t buy them

Asics Gel-Dedicate 8 pickleball shoes - These were the best I’ve tried so far, but they felt a bit narrow, lacked cushioning, and felt more cheaply made than the others I tried.

Are there any lightweight men’s pickleball or tennis shoes made for a recreational player that are values comfort over max performance?

Edit: I should have mentioned that I’ve worn Asics Gel Rocket shoes for many years while playing table tennis on a wood gym floor, and they fit great. I just figure they won’t hold up on a concrete surface since they have relatively soft soles.

Edit 2: I found a semi-nearby tennis/pickleball equipment store, went there, and bought a pair of Babolat Jet Mach 3 shoes (regular, non-wide size). They fit great and don’t feel like walking on a brick. :)
