Must Zone 2 exercise be sporadic (vs. continuous for at least 30 minutes) to be beneficial

I was always under the impression that Zone 2 required keeping a steady state for at least 30 minutes or so to be beneficial. I saw this Huberman clip, where he says you are doing Zone 2 throughout the day, while doing chores, for minutes or even seconds at a time, and that all those increments can be added up to count as your Zone 2 total. Is that correct? Thanks.
