i7 14700k CPU problems?

I’m thinking about buying a computer used from someone which has this CPU, I’ve heard about new intel CPU’s frying themselves or something and I was hoping you guys could tell me if this one is effected and which intel CPU’s are the ones being effected by these problems, thank you.
