appreciating rakk mechanical keyboards
I was hesitant to buy the RAKK Pirah as it is pricey compared to other keyboards. Was eying for the Pluma, but ditched my choice as it is only Outemu hotswap. I have also considered other brands like Royal Kludge, but they don't offer different switches like the Gateron Yellows unless you bought the barebone and purchase your own switches.
Investing this keyboard is a good decision for me as a beginner. It lets me put the switches and keycaps by myself. However, I replaced the stabilizers as I broke the stock space stabilizer because I put too much force in putting the spacebar. The stock stabilizers are good as they are pre-lubed. The switches are compared to NK Creams but they are scratchy at first and needed to be used for weeks to break-in and glide smoothly.
