Why does Hollywood like Sean Baker so much?

Don’t get me wrong, I think they so deserved Best Editing and Leading Actress. But I thought The Brutalist deserved the Best Picture. I feel like Hollywood’s love for Sean Baker is too real. Why is that? There were so many great nominees for the Best Picture.
