How good is ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27UCDM?

It’s very good indeed.

On Saturday, I upgraded from a 4K IPS 144Hz to a 4K OLED 240Hz — Samsung Odyssey G7 S28AG70 to ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27UCDM — and it’s nothing short of transformative.

It looks and feels so friggin’ good. Screenshots don’t do it justice.

And not needing display screen compression with 4K over DP2.1 is a joy — it makes alt-tabbing seamless when switching between games without native HDR and Windows with HDR. Old monitor crapped its pants trying to detect and handle input signal changes, and we ended up running Windows with no HDR so my son could use the PC the way he wanted — running games, streaming, chatting on discord at the same time, alt-tabbing like a maniac. The new monitor handles the mayhem with ease.
