Should I buy DS (lite)

I want to buy a DS lite with a couple titles like Mario 64 DS and Mario Kart DS etc. but all of that is around $220 which is about all the money I have. but also the Nintendo switch 2 is coming out soon and I don’t know if I should buy the Ds and the games or the switch 2! what is y'all's opinions?
