Raw Cradle Cap?

Good morning! FTM here and when picking my LO up out of his crib this morning , I OBVIOUSLY noticed the crown of his head is red, raw & weeping!

He has mild cradle cap since birth . However is the something that happens when it’s extreme? I do notice my LO rubs his head back and forth while on his back, could that be the cause? He took a layer of skin off?

I already have a Peds appt scheduled but I’m so freaking worried about it!! Like I’m obsessing over it & I was just wondering if anyone had experienced this and what did you do about it? I just need my mind eased a bit.

It legit looks like I dragged him head first on concrete . My mama heart is very worried 😞
