Thoughts on the track included in a recent Apple ad.
I was astonished with how the track included in the recent Apple advertisement felt to listen to and what feelings it invokes. I've never heard this particular style of singing and the strange but mysterious energy it creates.
The track is Yat Kha - Karangailyg Kara Hovaa (Dyngyldai) [Rock] (1995),
it has a gorgeous, cryptic, powerful, mysterious, godly energy. I was very pleasantly surprised. It gave me such a visceral feeling. Almost power-inducing. Something I can only describe as "I am an ancient evil and I have escaped." type of vibe.
What is the method of inducing this reaction and feelings in someone listening? Very few songs I've found even come close. Is there a specific response to low frequency singing that creates this effect?
I'm very fascinated by this concept so thought I'd share.
