Stryker's new ambush is going to give pretty much every character insanely high kombo damage (more than pre nerfed goro punch walk). Let me explain

From what I have calculated from the clips I have seen, it has the following properties:

  • Has 6 total hits:
    • Hit 1: 20 damage for 15% scaling
    • Hits 2 to 6: 20 damage for 0% scaling
  • Keeps the opponent grounded afterwards.

This means that over the entire move, the total damage will be 105 damage for only 15% scaling (as this is including the 15% scaling that the first hit gives).

Now let me tell you, THAT IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE FOR AN AMBUSH MOVE. And here is why.

If you compare it to similar ambush moves that extend kombos (ie: ambush moves that can be used to extend kombos after grounded attacks) . You will see how good this move could be:

So essentially, out of all the existing ambush moves that achieve similar things. Stryker's does it best because it does the most damage, has the least amount of scaling, and also keeps the opponent grounded afterwards.
