I’m still mad about this episode
This is the episode where Phil pushes Claire into a pile of cans and then denies doing so thinking he didn’t cause her to fall. Her family doesn’t really believe her and makes fun that ‘claire is always right’. Eventually Claire does a lot of work to prove that she is right but i honestly found it understandable?? If i had a husband like phil i would also be like this! Phil is seen as this ‘perfect husband and father’ when he is not, this episode is a great example of it. He pushes claire into a pile of cans because he was talking to another woman, which he actively leaves out of his retelling of the story. Her family continuesly makes fun of her and then when she proves she’s right everyone just ignores that phil was knowingly flirting with another woman? Something that doesn’t happen one time mind you.
