Is there a different technique to flying the Skycrane compared to the H125?

Decided to unlock the Skycrane missions today after running over 50 missions with the H125, and this Skycrane is EXTREMELY unstable for me. I feel very comfortable cruising around with the H125 like a stunt pilot, but I can’t seem to even hover with this Skycrane. It’s like every input is incrementing some kind of hidden Trim somewhere and it just spirals out of control. Also seems like even micro-adjustments to Rudder/Cyclic are causing massive spikes in Collective (compared to H125, at least).

Is there like some obvious toggle switch somewhere or something dumb that I’m missing? I normally play with all three Assists on, but even the H125 no-assists is super easy to control compared to this Skycrane, so I don’t think it’s a matter of git-gud here. Dunno, maybe I’m just missing something that you’re supposed to find in a manual somewhere?
