In addition, there will be a 15 alcoholic drink limit. From website: The Premium Extra Package also includes a 25% discount on bottled wine and Champagne purchased on board. Beverage gratuities are included. The Premium Extra Package can be used for a maximum of 15 alcoholic beverages per day. The 15-alcoholic beverage limit will impact all sailings beginning April 1, 2025 and beyond. The Premium Extra Package can be used at all bars and dining venues on board and at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. Not applicable at signature venues Venchi 1878, Jean-Philippe Maury, or the MSC Virtuosa Starship Club.

At this point, I think this will make people look at other cruise lines. By having multi-tier drink packages, it made MSC a lot more affordable and attractive compared to the other lines. But now, people will either start doing a la carte or compare total price and benefits of a MSC cruise to other lines.
