Just got my first cream empriente bag

I’ve been searching for a light colored bag to wear in spring and summer and decided on the cream empriente Métis. I’ve read in this sub that Apple brand is a recommended leather protectant, but I see a lot of folks mainly using it on vachetta leather. Has anyone used it on cream empriente leather?

I’d also like to hear any first hand experiences of keeping this color clean. Do you fee like you have to handle it more with kid gloves than your other bags? Does minor staining/dirt come off pretty easy with just wiping with a damp cloth?
