W2 contractor

Hi all! If I am a w2 employee on a 6-9 month contract in the state of Florida, am I granted severance if my contract ends early/ laid off. I have a bad feeling I may be laid off soon. I am paid hourly and submit my hours each week. Let’s say they let me go before my contract ends, would I get severance ?
