Reminds me of Manifest & The 100

I'm only on S1E5, but so far it's reminding me of Manifest & The 100. I know people compare it to Terra Nova (why I started watching), which I see as well, but I get vibes of the other 2 sci-fi shows.

The drama, the plane going to another world, the dad having visions, the government involvement, the subpar acting - all very Manifest (I loved Manifest).

The village people in La Brea remind me of the grounders in The 100. They even call them the sky people! They're learning how to survive in this primitive world while also navigating how to get along with everyone else in their group. Weird rituals are being done, which reminds me of The grounders' religion.

I'm here for it. I love a cheesy sci-fi show 😂
