Let's take a shower

Wueh, I've had a rough experience after meeting someone in person.

I had been online friends with this person for a while, and we recently discovered we were coincidentally near each other. We decided to meet up. As soon as I met them, I was hit with an overwhelmingly pungent smell. It was as if they had been in a sports competition the previous day and then went on a morning run right before our meeting.

I ended up excusing myself and left within 15 minutes of meeting them. They asked if I would be back later that day (it was late morning), and I said, "We'll see." Honestly, I want to ghost them, but I'm scared they'll find me because they know where I usually hang out and follow my social media, where I keep updating my whole life for everyone to see. Should I send some deodorant and soap over to them?

Moral of the story: soap, showers, and deodorant are essential. I'm just glad I still have my sense of smell! I've never appreciated the smell of nothing as much as I am now.
