How is Japan girl seen?

Hi. I am a Japanese female (23 years old). I don't speak English very well, so I apologize if I am wrong. Preface: I am dating an American guy who is 4 years older than me. We met on an app. He chose to work in Japan and works as a teacher. He is a very mature and serious person and takes me seriously, but I have my doubts.

Main question:①Often in the "depressed" community on reddit, people aim to go to Japan as their last remaining hope. Why is this? What is the significance?

My boyfriend often laments his loneliness. He seems to have a slight tendency toward depression. I felt there was a connection between (1) and these things.

(2) Are Japanese women considered to be quiet, timid, and convenient? Also, is it true that they are given the impression of being lewd?

This is something I see on the internet from time to time. Is it true that this is the overall impression of Japanese women? How pervasive are they?

His most recent ex-girlfriends are all Japanese women. It is true that he and I like each other and are attracted to each other, and I thought race had nothing to do with it, but I feel very insulted when nuances such as (2) are included.

I know this is not a consistent question, but I would appreciate any input you can give me.
