The Father’s Club

Not sure this is the place for this post so apologies.

I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone.

As a father, of course, I spend time around other fathers at school and sports events.. we talk, we make comments about our girls, how they have grown, their sporting and academic abilities.. all the normal stuff.

Recently I was invited to a father’s chat group and I felt great to be part of the group of nice guys.

However I notice some vague comments about it being called the Father’s club for other reasons and how the sharing of their daughter’s photos in it often with some sexual suggestion or compliment such on the photos.. these guys seem to take pride in the comments ..

Normal stuff, party photos etc..

They have now started to make similar comments about my daughter and encouraging me to share photos..

Along with comments that I must love having g my girl int the home and just don’t let my wife see my looking and things like this..

I am nervous but someone how proud that these men these fathers asked me to join and compliment me and my daughter.. I feel a little jealous of them liking her too..

Am I reading too much into this and it seems to have awakened something in me..
