I just completed my first home purchase, and I’m curious—how long did it take for you? Here’s my full timeline: • 15th Feb – Viewing • 18th Feb – Offer accepted • 19th Feb – Mortgage application submitted • 24th Feb – Mortgage offer accepted • 27th Feb – Legal work started • 7th March – Searches all cleared • 12th March – Deposit & solicitor fees paid • 17th March – Completion 🎉

So, from offer accepted to completion, it took me just under a month (27 days). I’ve heard some people say their process took months, while others moved quickly.
