100% Hogwarts Legacy Without A Guide

How difficult would it be to 100% this game without a guide? Without thigs like MapGenie to show locations of Field Guide Pages etc? I want to 100% this game without a guide as that'll just make it feel like a collection simulator.

For people who've 100% without a guide, was it fun? Was it borderline masochistic?
