0% respsonse rate, >1,000 emails sent. What am I doing wrong?
Hey guys, so I've been doing some cold emails (>1000 prospects emailed, 98% delivery rate, ultra-personalized, 40% open rate) but I haven't gotten a single reply (other than a couple low-intent responses) and I can't figure out why. I have tons of case studies and another CTA for a free competitor analysis that I didn't put into the script, but I have A/B tested and received little to no improvement. Can I get some tips on how to increase response rates? All of the prospects are verified business owners operating businesses ranging from $500k-50M in annual revenue. Here are two of the examples:
#1 Hey {first name}, I saw you're the owner of the {business name} franchise here in {location}? I did some research and found that you guys have ventered into some marketing efforts with other agencies before. However, I did notice that your website could be improved for local traffic and doesn't rank as high in search engines as it could with more keywords.
A more robust marketing strategy could also be extremely beneficial, considering how you guys are essentially the only franchise offering these specific services.
I have some ideas on how you could increase your ROI with your marketing efforts and drive more traffic and potential customers to your website. Let me know if this sounds interesting, I'd love to talk with you about it.
Best,
#2 Hey {first name}, I see you've been in the accounting business for quite a few years. After looking at your website I wanted to ask if you had ever run advertising campaigns for your services or tried implementing SEO for your website. I was afraid your weren't getting the best ROI with your standard marketing efforts and current website design.
Implementing a mobile-friendly website format and current design to make your business look more modern and accessible to clients on-the-go. I have some ideas on how to simplify and implement some keywords and designs on your website, as well as how to appeal to new clients via online marketing campaigns.
Let me know if this sounds interesting.
Best,
