Wildlands vs Breakpoint

I am always seeing people argue which game is better and the way I’d put it is both game have their flaws but both are enjoyable in their own way.

Wildlands really makes you feel free and like a badass special forces team stopping a drug cartel in Bolivia. Gameplay compared to modern games is a bit snappy with plenty of bugs and janky movement. I’m convinced the Ai Winnie’s eat rocks the way they are either oblivious or straight up stupid while fighting you. Gameplay is fun with so many options to tackle any target in any location. The map is beautiful and visuals still hold up today. The story was great but pretty basic with philosophical psycho drug lord that is built like a fridge (loved him btw).

Breakpoint had a ruff start but if I will review it as the game it is today. The game is beautiful with the different environments giving variety. The story falls flat for me as other than Holt and Midas I couldn’t care about any other character. John Walker is a cool character and concept done in the wrong story and location. The wolves don’t feel threatening as they are easily taken out. I feel while action is still an option stealth really takes over in this game. Gameplay is so much smoother than Wildlands and takedowns are awesome. Breakpoint feels like nothing happened story wise and I get this feeling it’s because we are on an Island but also it’s a made up Island so Ubisoft doesn’t get in trouble again which fair. I think what could have improved breakpoints story for me is if it felt like the world was in a lot more danger than it was. It felt pretty contained and seeing so many “Ghost” (online players) in the hub it just felt like the island was a Ghost shooting range where they go to relax.

I’m sick of seeing slade for both games because both are great games in their own way but this is just my opinion. Interested to see what people think!
