I just want share that people are out protesting and posting they are not is a narrative pushed for complacency
Nearly every day you can find multiple protests in every state. 50501, Political Revolution, Indivisible, Women’s March, etc etc all grassroots organizations are out there protesting nearly every day. Thousands of people. Big city. Small town.
It is by design. They want people to feel discouraged. They do not want people protesting because it is effective to protest. Worker’s rights, veteran’s rights, women’s rights, colored rights, gay rights. All given because people took to the streets. Just a fraction of citizens.
Media is not covering these on purpose. Seriously, google “national protests” and you find no big news media coverage. But go to the subgroups of any of the grassroots and find mobilization all over the nation. That has continually been happening since day one.
Pushing the narrative that no one is doing anything is trying to get people who wish to do something discouraged.
It only takes one person though. I organized in my small town and had almost 400 people stand with me. I organized another for April and i expect close to 500 this time. But even if i was out there by myself, I would do it. Not blindly following our leader/government and holding them accountable is quintessential of being an American that is why the first amendment right contains what it does. If that doesn’t work then it is step 2.
Whatever argue with me if you want. But at least come informed if you’re gonna come at all.
