Gregmat GRE testimony: 322 164V, 158Q

Took the Gregmat 2 month plan, but ended up stopping at week 5 after all the topical areas had been covered.

Never did too well at standardized tests in the past and as a result suffered from confidence issues. Had an underachieving undergrad, though I did pretty good at postgrad level a few years afterwards and did successfully raise funds to start a company.

I'd say that the main hindrance was my mental. My previous feckless self suddenly resurfaces when it's time for the GRE 😅. Master Greg's practice sessions and do all four tests. Pps are simpler that the pp+ versions. Pp+ is closer to the actual thing. Literally go over weeks 1 to 4 of the 2 month plan as much as you could. I got 326, 331 & 327 on pp1&2 and pp+1 respectively. Lastly don't go crazy over the last part (permutations & combinations in all their complexity..Greg even says this. But I didn't listen well enough).

Panicked hard at the quant version on test day but regained my composure. Same issue with the sporadic manifestations of fear and self-doubt. Calm down and tell yourself it can't get any worse.

Wish all future test takers the best.
