I'm after some advice...

So over black Friday weekend I got a booster box of Everest first edition. Now I know little about expansions and editions other than there are editions and expansions for flesh and blood. So do I dive in and see what I get? Or leave the box sealed and save it? Now I'm not expecting it to be a nest egg, or a future black lotus type affair at all. Just wondered what the people of FaB think?
