Whats the point of a 401
Rookie question - Whats the point of a 401 if I dont have an employer match and I cant touch the money until 59? Why not keep it in a brokerage. I get the tax deferment on the 401 but then Im just taxed after I pull it out? (Chat gpt wasnt helpful when I asked)
