110v charger does it make sense

Has anybody just used the 110v charger only at home? How much charge do you get per hour? I drive about 40 miles a day. I do have infrastructure in the area. I have a charger at my club within 2 miles but it does cost. I have a couple dc fast chargers that are free but hard to get on. I certainly can get charge just need to pay in most cases. Trying to understand if it makes sense to. It have level 2 installed. To installed level 2 would require tearing up drywall ceiling.
