I have a question!!!

What would happen if i dont pay for my phone custom fee when i arrive in egypt?? Will it be taken from me?? Or just the carrier will stop working?? I have an iphone 12 pro that i wanna bring with me do i have to pay it at the airport itself or??? And if i dont for it like i asked will they take it from me since its personal use??
