How much does „switch stance” stat actually affects fighter?

if fighter has low switch stance stat and I go from southpaw to orthodox it is really going to affect my punching power or speed? Is it that noticeable? I tried to test it but it wasn’t obvious enough for me.

Edit. Take Dustin Poirier for example. He has 90 switch stance at fw. Is it really going to matter?
