How to unlock moon pendant Heirloom necklace

I discovered this today, i wanted to try swordmaster so i went to the training room and after i spawned in i walked inside and saw a glowing white shrine and prayed at it and it gave me the moon pendant fragment and it stayed in my inventory after i left, not sure if this is widely known or even intended but id figure id share it here just in case
