Ambien is extremely weird

Whenever I take Ambien for sleep, I always wind up in a sort of la la land where I don’t really feel sleepy, but I am. I also forget the things I do when I’m on it. I always take it and then wake up in the morning not remembering when exactly I slept. It’s like one moment I’m awake and the next moment I’m waking up in the morning. It’s a very good feeling though and I see why people say it’s addictive. I once drew something I thought looked really cool and when I woke up I was like “what the actual fuck did I draw?” Does anyone have any experiences with drugs in the Z- drug class?
