What do you think when someone assumes to your face/online that all/most dinosaurs were massive in size? And do you correct them?

Hi.

Good day, everyone.

It’s understandable/natural people who don’t know much about dinosaurs would see a movie like Jurassic Park and assume all/the vast majority of dinosaurs were massive like Brachiosaurus and T. rex, but what do you think?

I personally make this clarification to these kinds of people in an effort to educate them so they don’t remain under this illusion that most non-avian dinosaurs were gargantuan.

As we know, dinosaurs like the ones I mentioned were the exception and there were ceratopsians that were smaller than the famous Triceratops and theropods that were significantly smaller than Tyrannosaurus rex.

What do you think?
