Anyone experienced an address “change” after sending?

You were sending funds to an external wallet. Solana or otherwise.

You for sure copied and pasted the address correctly. Maybe you copied it from a website or someone sent it to you. Perhaps you double checked and it looked correct.

But when you saw the completed transaction, the funds went into different account. Maybe a few letters off from the original.

But now the funds are locked in an account that you don’t have access to. Or it got transferred out by some unknown party.

I had this happen to me recently and am trying to figure it out if anyone else has had the same experience.

Would be very interested to see the transaction or receiving account, plus the address you intended to send it to.
