what happened to Land o lakes white American

I'm here hoping someone can help me find a real white American cheese. After getting burnt by Land O'Lakes several times and I thought my deli was giving me an inferior or generic product. Until I watch them open a fresh block of Land O'Lakes White American and I asked for a thinly sliced sample just to see if I was crazy or not and it was what I expected the recipe has changed it's horrible rubbery it does not melt on cheeseburgers grilled cheese or eggs any longer! So I was looking for suggestions on where I should go to get a product that is real American sliced cheese not a cheese product! Thank you in advance!
