(INVINCIBLE SPOILERS) I feel like a lot of people are missing the point of Angstrom Levy's character.

Having just watched ClassicManD, I'm honestly getting annoyed at how people ar perceiving Angstrom's character. Everyone is saying he's a terribly written or inconsistent villain because of the way he acts and his hatred of Mark rather than the other ones. And I'm starting to think that people have been watching with their eyes closed.

Angstrom's character is EXTREMELY well written in the show compared to the comics. Everything about his character down to his delusions and hypocrisy are the whole point of his arc. A once well-meaning man whose accident slips him off the deep end who initially starts off with delusional, but understandable enmity for the main character that can be chalked up to the brain trauma he endured, only for him to completely abandon his delusions and completely embrace his evil all in order to hurt his sworn enemy, even if it means abandoning his original rationale. It's not like he was trusting of the Alternate Marks. He practically planned on them betraying him and immeidately got rid of them when he had the chance, which, if you look at it in one way, can be seen as his justification for working with them in the first place: he was always going to get rid of them.

In other words, the whole point of his character isn't for him to be inconsistent about his hatred for Mark, but instead for his hatred of Mark to completely consume whatever reason and rationale that he had that eventually, it doesn't matter if he's the villan and Mark's the hero. All that matters is hurting him as much as he can.

Anyone have any thoughts?
