kelsea ballerini asking fans to like her songs more

the TikTok she posted earlier today was her saying how pretty her show is for those two songs and that she is asking for "more commotion" about them (first rodeo and two things). She expressed being annoyed/upset people weren't talking more about the songs or liking them more. "Can we love these songs?"

Both were singles last summer that didn't really take off. Just seems so cringe to me to ask your fans to like your music more, but maybe I am overthinking. Usually, standouts happen naturally, and least favorites naturally occur but artists don't ask fans to like them more, it's just fact some are worse than others.
