Getting to mass this weekend (anyone in a similar predicament?)

Hey all,

I live in the Northeast USA. Wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me right now planning for the weekend.

Superbowl weekend, so I’m visiting a friend in a different city. Also going to be snowing from Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning.

I’m supposed to travel Saturday morning, and spend all my time with my friends (who I haven’t seen in a while) for the weekend.

I figured while most are sleeping, I would attend mass on Sunday morning so as to not get in the way of the fun. But I won’t have access to my car, and I’m worried the snow will be too bad to walk.

I could go to mass on Saturday afternoon and then show up super late to my friends’ place, but then I’m worried about traveling in the snow after mass.

I could go to mass Sunday afternoon, but of course Superbowl festivities will be in full swing. I’m totally willing to do that but that would really be a bummer. And the snow might not even be cleared at that point, so I would hate to skip mass the rest of the day and rely on going then.

I don’t know. Anyone in a similar spot? Traveling + snow from Saturday 4pm to Sunday 12pm is just an awful combo for attending Mass.

Doesn’t help that I am super scrupulous and can’t really think straight when it comes to this stuff.
