I just beat infernum devourer of gods kinda easily

I am not trying to say im good or anything but I am confused. I fought him for like 2 hours yesterday and was having fun because I actually like this boss hes one of my favorites so far. I went to sleep and just started playing right now and on my first real try I beat him. I am kind of dissapointed because everyone said he is so difficult and I am sad since he was so fun. Should I expect lots of difficulty from the bosses after this? Its weird since I had 217 attempts on devourer of gods from expert revengeance but on this one I probably only had 130 real attempts. I made a post before I started infernum and everyone said if I had that much attempts on DoG on revengeance I would not beat him on infernum ever.
