Are Pretest SIMs Usually Easy or Hard?

Hi guys, I recently took FAR—it was my second attempt. I did pretty well on MCQs and feel confident that I got about 90% of them right.

However, I completely messed up the SIMs. To be honest, I did well on about 3 of them, but for the rest, I was just randomly guessing and running out of time.

My main question is: Are pretest SIMs usually very easy, or are they typically hard? I had one government accounting SIM that was very simple, but the revenue recognition SIM was absolutely brutal.
