Hammering MCQs all day. What’s the point?

I am kind of confused about this strategy to be honest. I’m doing it and have noticed my average scores increase steadily but I’m not sure if I’m memorizing the answer or understanding the concepts?

I struggle on sims, my last SE I got 76 and 66 on test let 1,2 but bombed the sims and ended with a 50.

Is the point of doing this strat to just memorize the answers? I’ll see a question and it’s a question I recognize so I already know the answer to it. Any advice? Am I doing it right lol
