Experience with Thursday Boot customer service? My boots are too small and they are refusing to take them back.
Bought a pair based on their sizing guide, and they are too small. They fit okay out of the box, very snug (as advertised that they would be) and after spending a day, inside, on carpet, mostly standing still, I realized that they were just too small to be comfortable in the long run, especially if I ever wanted to wear thick socks.
Thursday is telling me that they don't accept returns on worn boots. I am curious just how exactly I am supposed to know if they fit on my feet without putting them on my feet, but I digress. I sent them pictures as requested, the boots have an expected but very minor crease above the toe, and some creases from being laced up on the tongue, but that's it. The StormKing soles still have all their little dimples on the bottom. No stains, no scratches, no oils, nothing.
Thursday is offering me $50 off on a new pair, or to exchange them with whatever random 2nd hand boots they have laying around (from RETURNS I imagine...)
Is this normal? Did I get a bad CS rep? I feel like Thursday's reputation is better than this, but I may have been mislead.
